The Travelport Fumba Marathon is an annual community-driven running event born from a vision that started in 2020 to unite the people of Fumba Town and the wider Zanzibar community. As the digital partner for the inaugural 2026 edition, we handled the full digital side from website development and event branding to registration systems and digital marketing campaigns that brought 316 runners together across 3 race categories.

Where we started
Launching a first-ever marathon requires more than just setting a route. It demands a digital infrastructure that handles registrations, communicates with runners, attracts sponsors, and builds community excitement from zero. The organizers needed a trusted digital partner to bring their six-year vision to life online.
