The challenge
Where we started
A first-ever TEDx event carries the weight of the entire TED brand. Every photo, every piece of content needs to meet a global standard while authentically representing Zanzibar's identity. The team needed professional, high-quality visual documentation that could live on the TED platform, fuel post-event social campaigns, and set the benchmark for future TEDxZanzibar editions.

Our take
Being the content team behind Zanzibar's very first TEDx was a privilege. Eight speakers, one stage, one day, and every frame had to tell the story of an island that's ready to share its ideas with the world. From Dr. Mohamed Zahir on genomic medicine to Farhiya Elmy on marine conservation to Ally Jape on Zanzibar's tourism narrative, we made sure every moment was captured at the level this platform deserves. Beyond The Horizon wasn't just the theme. It's what Zanzibar is doing.
